Republic of Turkey
As of 2023, we celebrate a century of the Republic of Turkey and with that, let’s look at a brief summary of how they achieved it. Because if we were to tell the whole story of how brave and heroic they were, we couldn’t. When things were rough and the Ottoman Empire was on the edge of collapsing, an astonishing leader emerged. During the World War I era it was known to the people that we would lose and we eventually did. The war resulted in the collapse of the Ottoman Empire hence, the national struggle started under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal in which the sovereignty of the Turkish people would be the main idea. After many unsuccessful attempts of occupation and wars, it was clear that the destiny of Turkish people were bright. —When we say “destiny”, we do not mean it like this was supposed to happen and it happened miraculously. We say destiny because Mustafa Kemal and our soldiers fought so courageously and in the belief of a bright Turkiye, it was bound to happen. It was not destiny, it was in fact the love of our country and our people.
Grand History
On April 23rd 1920, Mustafa Kemal and his friends established the Grand National Assembly in Ankara which meant that a concrete step was taken in the name of the sovereignty of the nation. Another important key incident was the fall of the dynasty of sultans who reigned after their father. This meant that the will of the public was not taken into consideration because the two of them could not coexist. When it was abolished, in September 1923 Mustafa Kemal and Ismet Pasha started the speculations of proclamation of the republic. After days and weeks, on October 29th 1923, the proclamation of the republic was announced with the proposal of the constitutional amendment Mustafa Kemal Atatürk proposed. And to this day, we celebrate it joyfully also with all we got. We commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his friends on this sacred day every year with eternal gratitude.
100th Year

It’s not just a glance into history; it’s a jubilant embrace of today and a hopeful gaze into tomorrow—a reaffirmation of the enduring essence of the Turkish Republic crafted by the visionary Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It's a testament to a nation's unstoppable evolution.
On that day, 29 October 2023,as a citizen of Turkey, we as a whole got excited so much that every council arranged their own celebration. These celebrations were highly passionate for the Turks and everyone enjoyed them. The Turkish navy, SOLOTÜRK, concerts, fireworks, kid programs and so on… They were all ready for that special day, they were with their blood cells, they were all ready with the soul of being a Turkish citizen.
