Hosting ESN201 Marmara at our university was an exciting and meaningful experience for ESN Marmara. Bringing together ESNers from across Türkiye for an Educational National Event gave us the opportunity to organise a large-scale event and also to create a welcoming environment where participants could learn, connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the ESN spirit together.
For ESN201 Marmara, we chose a theme inspired by Cars. As a city that never slows down, full of movement and energy, Istanbul felt like the perfect match for this concept. Throughout the event, we combined this theme with our slogan “Running on ESN energy”, reflecting both the dynamic atmosphere of the event and the motivation that kept our team moving during the entire process.
For weeks, our Organising Committee worked closely on the preparation process to ensure that every part of the event reflected the energy and dedication of our section. Seeing participants actively engage in workshops, spend time together during breaks, and enjoy the atmosphere throughout the event made all the effort truly worthwhile.
An important part of this process was our collaboration with partners who supported ESN201 Marmara throughout the preparation stage. Thanks to their contributions, we were able to prepare welcome packs for participants and organise coffee breaks that helped create a more comfortable and enjoyable experience during the event. Their support played a valuable role in helping us bring the event to life.
Beyond the organisational aspect, ESN201 Marmara became a reminder of how much can be achieved through teamwork, communication, and shared motivation.
As organisers, we are incredibly proud to have been part of this journey and grateful for every person who contributed to the event in any way.
